Designer Ted Noten break all the rules when it comes to design. Nolan's unconventional style veers toward wearable art- so the term "jewelry artist" fits him better than the latter. Nolen mixes everyday objects as his medium: from porcelain dining ware, souvenirs from his globe-trotting trips, brooches with gold miniscule automatic weapons, to raw meat cast in acrylic. Noten's hit-making pieces include the limited-edition Lady K Prada bag which features an engraved gold-plated gun with bullet in tow. Talk about shock and awe. Forget the powder compact, lipstick and cellie as purse essentials. A chic pistol is the modern fashionista's only requirement to be drop dead gorgeous- no pun intended.
