débutdaily.com is the creation of Laina Whitney Faber, editor of dèbutdaily.com, and CEO of 2727 Media LLC, publisher of débutdaily.com and dèbut magazine. A fashion design graduate of The Fashion Institute of Technology with eight years experience in the fashion and media industries. Laina has interned and worked with some of Seventh Avenue's top designers from Tracy Reese, Betsey Johnson and fashion house St. John. From the experience, Laina garnered the knowledge of the cylindrical cycle of the fashion business from the creative production of seasonal collections to selling the concept to the consumer.
Taking a leap from the ateliers to fashion publishing, Laina found her true passion lied in the journalistic review of the ever evolving fashion world and its symbiotic relationship with popular culture, music, art and entertainment. Holding court behind the camera, Laina worked as a fashion stylist, editorial production director, and freelance writer for magazines, websites, and corporate clients. With a snazzy knack for the written word, a discerning taste for high fashion combined with a fierce sense entrepreneurship, Laina went on the create débutdaily.com and the forth-coming publication début magazine. Laina's goal is to infuse dèbutdaily.com and début magazine with fashion, beauty and lifestyle content that resonates, inspires, and entertains.
